Your Birthday Party At Hotel Sonnenpark, Lutzmannsburg

On July 27, 1990, Bugs Bunny celebrated his 50th birthday. Around that same time, the local video store celebrated his birthday by having him as a special guest” (well, some guy in a Bugs Bunny suit showed up, so here nor there), but for nearly eight-year-old me, it was still pretty cool.

I respect my pinball forefathers, and while I believe that drop targets have their place in modern pinball, it's 2009, and in 2009, if I'm playing a fairly new game and the only way for me to get my pinball jollies on it is to slap down some drop targets and goof off with a hole, we got cute rabbit ourselves a problem.

Collect hearts and keep Bugs Bunny's HP high as he tries to collect as many carrots as possible along the way. These games (pictured below) were a mixed bag of chance games like the bingo game, and skill focused like the whack-a-mole game, but were a nice way to break up the monotony of the levels.

Title Drop : In the games opening cutscene, the title is mentioned in the invitation Bugs recieves. Birthday Blowout featured levels that were decently large in vertical scope, with many areas being up to two screens high, if not more. The game throws the player to stage 1-1 immediately.
